Top 10: Competitors

Here’s my list, what’s yours?

10. Denis Andries.

[Andries in action action against Thomas the Hitman Hearns, a fight he would loose]

Light Heavy Weight boxer. Probably the best slugger I’ve ever seen. I’ll never forget his rematch against Harding shown on the BBC Sportsnight programme. 2 blokes standing toe to toe, simply knocking shit out

Deffeh's Shit guide to the London Underground: Stations

NB: I'm well aware that this thread should probably be in travel, but with traffic so low there, and traffic low on the site in general, i suggest it be left in FMD until its had a good airing

Here is my subjective guide to the best and worst of the London Underground; which seems to be where i spend most of my life these days. I am a massive, massive infrastructure nerd and get a right chubby over all this stuff so bear with me.

Best Stations:

1. (Kings Cross)-St Pancras

St Pancras is a fucking cathedral.

In Praise Of... Tony Scott

He won’t be topping any Best Director lists nor will most people have ever heard of him, but you definitely know his work and there’s almost certainly at least one of his films that you’ll like. He’s not an obvious choice for such a write-up, nor has his career been blemish-free and in many ways he is the definition of mediocre, but then sometimes that’s all you want.

Yet he always gets a high quality cast. Over the course of his career he has worked with:
Denzel Washington
John Travolta
Keira Knightly
Micky Rourke
Christopher Walken
Robert Redford
Brad Pitt
Will Smith
Gene Hackman<br

Album Review: Prinzhorn Dance School - Clay Class

So...

The gig.

I was literally the first person in there.

Literally.

For the next 40 minutes or so there was only the 6 of us (that includes the barman and the merch guy).

Having entered near a woman of vaguely my age who was sitting alone I decided (after about 20 minutes of pretending to look at my phone) to talk to her.

“You’ve come to see Prinzhorn Dance School?” seemed a gentle enough introduction and way to start conversation, seeing as they were the headline act and all.

Her reply:
Album Review: Prinzhorn Dance School - Clay Class

Finally, after five years Prinzhorn Dance School have released the follow up to their self-titled debut, which I have reviewed here. To summarise, it’s a very sparse, simple record with a rather bleak outlook on life and I absolutely loved it.

This record is different, only slightly, but given the sparseness of the records small changes are very apparent. This record still contains the same elements of the first record, but in several parts they have been diluted somewhat. There is more guitar, more complicated drumming in parts and even harmonic vocals instead of their trademark shouting. There’s even some love songs, of a fashion, and they even create what might be considered a pop song (I Want You).

This is clearly
